THE TRIP: The
original plan was to meet in Greenfield,
OH to depart for Charleston, SC on Monday morning. But, after
riding
mostly in the rain on Monday, Dave getting a flat tire a mile from
our exit and then finally getting to our
motel in Wytheville, VA, we double checked the weather. We saw
that the forecast for the southern east coast was going to be very stormy
for the next few days.
So we changed our Trip Plan and on Tuesday morning we headed west from Wytheville, VA over towards Knoxville, TN. We decided to ride around The Great Smoky National Park area for five days. We travelled the Tail of the Dragon, The Rattler, The Snake, Moonshiner 28, The Cherohala Skyway, The Foothills Parkway and many other parkways and backroads.
