We just stayed at the Verde Valley RV Campground for two
nights. Rode the motorcycle into Cottonwood and found
a nice cafe for breakfast. Then we proceeded north up
highway 89Alt thru Sedona all the way to Flagstaff. We
didn't think about the changes in altitude and the
temperature drops when we left the campground because it was
so warm. So we left our cycle jackets back at the RV.
We bought a couple of sweatshirts for the return ride back
to Verde Valley. Riding back in a high wind advisory
didn't help matters any. 50-60mph gusts weren't fun! |
