My plan for this leg of my 2023 Western Trip was to depart the Wapiti Campground (near Cody, Wyoming) and drive south down to Blanding, UT.  I spent the evening at The Dinosaur Musuem (a Harvest Host) in Blanding, UT.  After a tour thru the Dinosaur Museum, which was very interesting and reasonably price, I headed down towards the Four Corners Monument.  While in route I make a stopover in Monument Valley (I had to check out the Forrest Gump Point tourist location).

After leaving the Four Corners Monument area I headed up and over to Cortez, CO for fuel and supplies.  My campground and "base camp" for the next few nights was at the McPhee Recreation Complex, Dolores, Colorado - around 15 miles north of Cortez.
