After leaving my Base Camp at McPhee Recreation Complex near Cortez, CO I traveled over to Amarillo, TX where I just spent the night in a Walmart parking lot.  The next morning I was off to Oklahoma City, OK and spent a day or so visiting my sister-in-law that I haven't seen very much since my older brother passed.

From OKC I drove over to the Bufflalo National River and set up another Base Camp and stayed a few nights at the Buffalo Point Campground.  It was a nice laid back area which offered a lot of things to do for the outdoor enthusiast and a great location for a Base Camp for a motorcyclist.  My plan was to take a couple of motorcycle rides around this beautiful area before heading back to Lakeland, FL.
