Trip Dates:  Sept. 21/22/23 2002 (OH,WV,KY)

Me and my friend Dave finally got a chance to get away on a bike trip before the cold weather sets in.  With only a few days for a trip -> got to head for some West Virginia back roads.  698 total miles (Greenfield to Greenfield), plus another 120 miles for me to get from home to Dave's. 

The route from Greenfield took us thru Athens and Marietta, OH to New Martinsville, WV (river crossing), then over to Morgantown, WV.  The 2nd day took us thru Buckhannon, Weston, Spencer, Kenna, Winfield, WV over to Ashland, KY.  The 3rd day we went from Ashland, KY to Portsmouth, OH (river crossing), then northwest up to Greenfield, OH.

No road trip is complete without at lease one stop at Wal-Mart. (Grafton, WV, US-119)

Just another break along US-33/119 somewhere between Weston and Spencer, WV. Plenty of rain!

Time to put on another jacket during the rain before heading across CR-15 from Grandeeville to Kenna, WV to pick up SR-34 west.

Re-packed after 2nd night (Ashland, KY) and checking out the dirty bikes from all the rain the day before.
