Photos by: Jim McMullen, Karen McMullen and Dave Patton The quality of some of these pictures may not be 100%, but considering that they are over 40 years old and most of them were taken with a 110 camera and then scanned into the computer, they are not too bad. PRE-TRIP- Dave rode his Sportster from Greenfield, OH to our apartment in Bellevue, NE. My four year Air Force tour was completed on 19 June 1979. We left the next day for Yellowstone. THE TRIP- We left Bellevue, NE and headed northwest up thru Nebraska and camped the first night in Valentine, NE. The next day we entered into South Dakota and rode thru the Badlands and visited Wall Drugs. Camped in Rapid City, SD and visited Mount Rushmore National Memorial. From Rapid City we ventured up to Devil's Tower and camped at a National Forest campground near the tower before heading west to the Yellowstone National Park. After visiting YNP we rode south east thru the Grand Tetons Mountains and visited some friends in Cheyenne, WY before cruising back to Bellevue (Omaha) and then on to Ohio. CAMP NIGHTS: 1- Valentine, NE 2- Rapid City, SD 3- Devil's Tower 4- Yellowstone NP 5- Debouis, WY 6- Cheyenne, WY POST-TRIP- After our return to Bellevue, NE from Yellowstone we rode around 760 miles east to Ohio.
